NJ TRANSIT will conduct four (4) public hearings to receive oral and written comments on the Northern Branch DEIS. The hearings will include a formal presentation, an open house with information and displays, and the ability to comment on the findings of the DEIS. Information regarding this project, including the DEIS and impacts to historic resources under Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) is available on the project website at: http://northernbranchcorridor.com. Interested persons may submit, in writing, comments concerning the findings of the Northern Branch DEIS to: Linda A. Mosch, P.E., Project Director, Northern Branch Corridor EIS, NJ TRANSIT Capital Planning & Programs, One Penn Plaza East, Newark, NJ 07105 or email info@northernbranchcorridor.com. The 45-day comment period for this project begins on January 6, 2012. Comments must be submitted in writing to NJ TRANSIT by February 21, 2012.
